Day 14. What you wore today
Well except that today I found this at my morning job:
It’s a fcking Louis Vuitton briefcase! This guy left it behind at a meeting, then forgot it as he rushed to the airport… only to realize once he was back in Canada that the keys to his Mercedes weren’t with him. Wtf! Somebody slap me when I’ve reached the point in my life where a $2,000 briefcase is no big deal to forget in another country.
When I found it I seriously had a devil-and-angel-on-my-shoulder moment where I pictured myself keeping the briefcase, selling it, then using the money to backpack in South America. Haha I guess that goes to show you my priorities aren’t in designer bags. Kreayshawn is right — I really don’t even bother. lol
I’d much rather come up on really good thrift store finds :)
Ralph Lauren women’s button up. A-cut gold ring and vintage gucci bracelet (alright, alright I bother a little— but they were birthday presents). pleated skirt. tights. watch. and boots (free from Faith’s Auntie Gloria). Cashmere sweater. My entire outfit today only took a $40 dollar nibble to my wallet, and only because my watch was $20 bucks from Walmart. lol
The best part is that a random girl this morning on the elevator told me she’d been meaning to compliment me on my outfit since we got off the BART train. haha i was blushing uncontrollably.
note to self: genuine compliments can turn a person’s entire day around
