Day 6. Views on Mainstream Music
A friend of mine said this once and I absolutely agree, “hips or heart, it’s gotta move me”
Even though I’ll kick it with People Under The Stairs, I still know all the words to Wale’s verse on “No Hands”. And Even though Soulja Boy would never make it to my ipod, I’ll admit that “Pretty Boy Swag” is, like, my favorite guilty pleasure. I might as well take this opportunity to admit to the world that The Jonas Brother’s “Love Bug” has a special place in my heart for some strange reason.
No doubt mainstream music was complete garbage for awhile, but there’s some stuff out that I am quite enjoying. There’s a huge difference between real quality, good music and the consumable stuff they put on the radio, but I’m not out there creating either kind so I really can’t hate…. but the day I release my first single is the day I write a 3 page report on how much I hate Miley Cyrus. lol
